Macks Creek Schools had our annual Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) bus inspection this morning. Each year, the inspection team from Troop F visits our campus to evaluate the district’s bus fleet. Over 200 items are assessed on each of our eight buses and logged. This year, the fleet received a 100%, meaning that our district will receive the MSHP “Fleet Excellence” award for the coming school year!
Our district is grateful to Lewis, JR, and Carla Stoufer for their diligence in maintaining our buses to ensure they are safe and running efficiently! We are also grateful to our bus drivers, Carl, Robin, Everett, Doyle, and Byron, for their attention in performing daily pre-trip inspections to make sure everything is operating optimally for our students! We are also thankful to Mrs. Willis and Mr. Trusty for filling in for our regular drivers when they are out on trips or not feeling well!

Big day for Macks Creek FFA at the Central District CDE Contest! 🌱🐄🐖
Our Agronomy team — Ella Marshall, Taeler Osborn, Brooklyn Green, and Leigha Jensen — is STATE BOUND after earning 5th place out of 20 teams! 🎉 Special shoutout to Brooklyn (7th) and Taeler (11th) for bringing home gold individual scores out of 76 participants! 🏅
Our Dairy Cattle team — Kassidy Campbell, Eli Carlton, and Devon Laxton — competed hard and placed 20th out of 30 teams. 🐄
Our Livestock team — Matthew Hufferd, Morgan Buck, and Grace Deckard — showed determination and grit, finishing 33rd out of 36 teams. Special shoutout to Morgan (39th) for securing a silver individual score out of 131 participants.🐖
We are incredibly proud of the effort, dedication, and hard work all of these students put into preparing for these contests. Your commitment truly shows!

The Macks Creek Middle School students participated in the PCL ELA Fair on Wednesday, March 25, along with their HS counterparts. While they did not place, they performed well in the areas of subject agreement, commonly confused words, and story elements.
Students had a great time collaborating and engaging in all things ELA. We also had two students compete in the spelling bee; although they didn’t place, they’ll definitely remember the words that got them out!
We’re proud of their effort, teamwork, and positive attitude throughout the event! #MCPirates
