Big day for Macks Creek FFA at the Central District CDE Contest! 🌱🐄🐖 Our Agronomy team — Ella Marshall, Taeler Osborn, Brooklyn Green, and Leigha Jensen — is STATE BOUND after earning 5th place out of 20 teams! 🎉 Special shoutout to Brooklyn (7th) and Taeler (11th) for bringing home gold individual scores out of 76 participants! 🏅 Our Dairy Cattle team — Kassidy Campbell, Eli Carlton, and Devon Laxton — competed hard and placed 20th out of 30 teams. 🐄 Our Livestock team — Matthew Hufferd, Morgan Buck, and Grace Deckard — showed determination and grit, finishing 33rd out of 36 teams. Special shoutout to Morgan (39th) for securing a silver individual score out of 131 participants.🐖 We are incredibly proud of the effort, dedication, and hard work all of these students put into preparing for these contests. The Macks Creek Middle School students participated in the PCL ELA Fair on Wednesday, March 25, along with their HS counterparts. While they did not place, they performed well in the areas of subject agreement, commonly confused words, and story elements. Students had a great time collaborating and engaging in all things ELA. We also had two students compete in the spelling bee; although they didn’t place, they’ll definitely remember the words that got them out! We’re proud of their effort, teamwork, and positive attitude throughout the event! #MCPirates
