Last night, the HS Track Team competed at the Eugene Invitational. Izzy Willey had a personal record (PR) in the 200 and 400. Kaelee Keehler had a PR in the 100 and 400. Alexis Eversole had a PR in Discus. Julian Tucker had a PR in 200.
Coach Salter shared "Carter Ferrell smashed his previous PR in the 3200 by 30 seconds! This determined effort earned him a second place silver medal finish. He is eager to cut even more time in future races."
Coach also shared, "we have two meets to go before districts begin on May 10th. You can catch the Pirates at the Camdenton JV meet on April 30th and the Crocker Invitational at Waynesville on May 7th. Every meet this team keeps striding for faster efforts and beating their personal goals. The best part is watching the team celebrate each other at the finish line!" Great job Pirates! #MCPirates
