Exciting News for the Macks Creek Agriculture program!
We’re thrilled to announce that our Agriculture Program has been awarded a Missouri Farm Bureau Agriculture in the Classroom Grant!
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our agriculture teacher, Ms. Hanna Norman, this grant will help us kick off a brand-new project — a chicken coop and egg business right here at Macks Creek!
Our FFA members will have the opportunity to raise and care for chickens, gaining valuable hands-on experience in animal care, feed rations, and even coop construction. This project will not only enhance their agricultural knowledge but also provide real-world lessons in responsibility and entrepreneurship.
We’re also excited to involve our 3rd graders through Agriculture Education on the Move, where our high school agriculture students will teach and share the experience of working with the chickens.
A huge thank-you to Missouri Farm Bureau for supporting agricultural education and helping our students learn, lead, and grow!

Macks Creek FFA Members Step Out of Their Comfort Zones!
Last night, five of our Macks Creek FFA members got out of their boxes and took on the challenge of giving speeches — for some, it was their very first time ever speaking in front of a crowd!
We are incredibly proud of the hard work, courage, and dedication each student put into preparing and presenting their speeches. While no one advanced to districts this time, several of our members placed 4th and 5th in large, competitive categories — an impressive accomplishment!
These experiences build confidence, leadership, and lifelong communication skills, and we couldn’t be prouder of how each of our members represented Macks Creek FFA. 💙💛 #MCPirates

As a team the high school took second in three events: the Pentathlon, Picture This, and Science Scattegories. Senior Gabby Eversole took first in the high school Anatomy Quiz competition! Congrats Gabby!

FFA + Rodeo = a perfect combination! 🤠
Members of our FFA chapter attended National FFA Rodeo this afternoon in Indianapolis. The rodeo highlights the strong connection between agriculture and the western lifestyle. Competitors demonstrate skills in roping, riding and livestock handling - all rooted in agricultural education and leadership.
Our students gained valuable insight into the hard work, discipline, and dedication it takes to compete at this level, and we're proud to support those who keep agricultural traditions alive! 💙💛
