Today is the beginning of MSHSAA dead week. Athletes may not have any contact with the coaching staff and athletes can’t use school facilities. Dead week ends August 10th. High school practices start on August 11. Cross Country practice will be 7:00-8:15 AM. Baseball will be 4:00-6:00 PM at BPN. Softball will be 5:30-7:30 at BPN. Junior High practices start August 18th with JH Cheer @ 2:00 PM in Ms. Biggers' classroom. JH Girls Basketball practice in the gym from 2:00-4:00 PM and JH Boys Basketball from 4:00-6:00 PM.

The Macks Creek R-V School District is excited to announce that we have partnered with State Fair Commuinity College to provide a new opportunity for students interested in Dual Enrollment courses for the 2025-2026 school year. There are six dual enrollment courses that will be offered in-seat here at the Macks Creek Campus during the school day. These courses are being taught by our staff that have met State Fair qualifications as Adjunct Professors in the following areas:
College Skills (3 credits - First Semester) and Intro to Education (3 credits - Second Semester) - Ms. Eidson College and Career (1 credit - First and Second Semester) - Mrs. Bothwell English Composition 1 and 2 (3 credits/class) - Mrs. Cowan Educational Psychology (3 credits - Independent Study) - Dr. Jori Phillips
We know this opportunity may need some schedule adjustments, both for us and with State Fair. On August 14th from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., representatives from State Fair will be here to help our students enroll in the seated courses as well as help to make sure our students are enrolled in the correct online classes. State Fair will also help our students fill out the scholarship for dual enrollment classes. Please plan to attend.
