Congratulations to Carter Ferrell who is Statebound! Carter ran a solid 3200 meter race in the heat this afternoon, placing 4th (10:57.75) at the Class 1 Sectional 3 meet. Carter is among the top 16 fastest distance runners in Class 1 in Missouri. He will race next weekend in the MSHSAA State Track & Field Championships in Jefferson City. Great job Carter! #MCPirates

Kloe Hoback gave it her all in the 300 meter hurdes today taking 5th pace and missing State by 100th of a second! We are proud of your effort Kloe! #MCPirates

The Lady Pirates ran hard, placing 6th at today's Class 1 Sectional. The ladies posted their fastest time of the season, 1:56.63. Well done ladies! Kloe ran well in the 100m hurdles with a season best of a 18.77 to take 6th. Carter just finished the 1600 meter, also taking 6th with 5:05.10. Kloe and Carter are still in contention for a trip to State as they have yet to race in the 300m hurdes and 3200 meter run. Let's go Kloe and Carter! #MCPirates

Macks Creek 5th and 6th grade students took their field trip to Fantastic Caverns today. Students enjoyed a jeep-pulled tram with a guided tour, learning the history of the cavern's discovery and how the natural formations were made. Following the tour, students went to a nearby park to run off some energy before returning back to the school. #MCPirates

HS/MS Field Day is tomorrow afternoon! Chromebooks and all related materials are required to be turned in prior to going. Students will be participating in water activities at the Macks Creek Park. Swim attire must fall within dress code. Students may bring outside game items (football, wiffle ball, basketball, etc.) with them as well. They will be brought to the park by bus at 12:15 and return to school at 2:45. #MCPirates

Tonight's scheduled baseball game @ Laquey has been postponed until Wednesday @ 4:30. The next game for the Pirates is tomorrow night at home vs Dadeville @ 5:00 at BPN.
