Our Macks Creek School family rallied to show tremendous kindness today. Thank you to everyone who donated to encourage a family in Humansville who lost a child earlier this week. After collecting donations this morning, our STUCO through their hat fundraiser gathered $500. The donations kept coming throughout the day and at last count had grown to over $600. These funds will be sent to Humansville School to be directed to the family. Way to answer the call to help Pirates!
Calling all Pirates to help a family in need - Humansville School tragically lost an elementary student earlier this week. Members of the Macks Creek STUCO have organized an effort to support and encourage this family. All Pirates may wear hats to school tomorrow. Students participating are asked to bring a donation of at least a dollar to be given to the family. Thank you and have a good evening. #MCPirates
The Archery team hosted their First Parent Student Social this evening! Archers showed their skills and explained the finer points of shooting to their families before enjoying a delicious dinner together. #MCPirates
In the final action of the evening, the Lady Pirates outpaced the Lady Indians, 15 - 3. Good hustling team - it is going to be a great season! #MCPirates
The Lady Pirates are playing hard against the Russellville Lady Indians. In the final period of play this evening, the team is leading 4 - 2. The Lady Pirates were behind at the end of the last period, 13 - 10. Keep hustling team! #MCPirates
In the next two periods of play the Lady Pirates were behind the Lady Mustangs, 11 - 8 and 11 - 4. The ladies will take a break before playing the Russellville Lady Indians at 8:00. #MCPirates
The Pirates had a great night during their Jamboree in Camdenton. Great start boys. They will be back in action on Monday next week along with the Lady Pirates at Home against the Stoutland Tigers with a 5:30 start time. #MCPirates
The Lady Pirate are in Russellville for tonight's Jamboree. MC is up against the Eldon Lady Mustangs during the first action which includes 3 separately scored periods. MC outscored Eldon, 16 - 12 in the first period. A good start team! #MCPirates
After the second, the Pirates end with a score of 13-4 to the Camdenton Lakers in favor of the Lakers. #MCPirates

As a friendly reminder the girls and boys basketball teams start their 2022-2023 journeys with their jamborees taking place on Tuesday, November 15th next week. The girls will travel to Russellville with a start time of 6:30 PM against Eldon and then will play Russellville at 8:00 PM. The boys will travel to Camdenton and will first play Osage at 5:45 PM and then right after, they will be playing Camdenton. Start off strong girls and boys and GOOD LUCK!!! #MCPirates

An update to the Macks Creek Schools Veteran's Day Assembly:
The assembly will begin at 9:00 a.m. this coming Friday, November 11. Breakfast will be available for Veterans in the high school gym starting at 7:30 a.m. that morning.
