Macks Creek Junior, Addison Ratliff reached a milestone in her high school basketball career, recently scoring her 1,000th career point! Addie has averaged 17.1 points per game this season. Addison moved to Macks Creek her sophomore year and it looks like the fit was very good for her. She helped the Lady Pirates to a quarterfinalist appearance last season and the ladies hope to take another step this season. “Addie is a great shooter and especially from the 3-point line,” commented Coach Duggan. “She really doesn’t know a bad shot and can hit from really deep as she has shown in multiple games. Once she gets hot, look out.” She is currently shooting 45% from long range and has made 51 three’s already this season, including 9 long range bombs against South Iron. “Her outside shooting has really helped balance out our offense and we’re all very proud of her accomplishments.”
