In the second half of the SBU Bearcat Invitational, Brooklyn Duggan, Jade Stasiak, and Neveah Dorrell ran in the 400m open. The trio ran 1:11, 1:16.03, 1:19.55, respectively. Following that, Jose Cortez ran a 46.04 in the 300m Hurdles. Caleb Phillips competed in the 800m (2:06). Addison Ratliff got her second PR of the evening in the 3200m with a 13:48! Phillips returned to the track for the 3200m and ran a 10:35.06. The Lady Pirates closed out the meet for Macks Creek with a PR in the 4x400m (5:04.79)! The Pirates and Lady Pirates competed well against a field of 55 area schools! #MCPirates

Congratulations to Addison Ratliff who ran a 6:09.91 in the 1600 meter race. Addie pushed hard at today's meet at SBU in Bolivar and shaved 14 seconds off her best to set a new PR! Way to run Addie! #MCPirates





Congratulations to Caleb Phillips who took 2nd place in the Steeplechase today at the SBU Bearcat Invitational. This was the first time an MC athlete ran in the event. In the 2000 meter race, athletes run 5 laps jumping over 4 barriers and a water hazard each lap. Caleb ran a 6:55.1. Way to race Caleb! #MCPirates





Our HS Track & Field team is competing at the Southwest Baptist University Invitational today in Bolivar. So far, Brooklyn Duggan ran the prelims of the 100m hurdles in 19.04. Jose Cortez ran the prelims of the 100m hurdles in 18.7 and the 100m dash in 13.3. We will share more as the meet progresses. Go Pirates! #MCPirates

FFA officers Ty Glawson, Trenton Arnold, Makenna and Kassidy Campbell, Morgan Buck, Aiden George and Wyatt Brooks joined fellow FFA officers from across the state in Columbia on Thursday and Friday, at the 95th Missouri FFA Convention. At the event they honored fellow members for outstanding achievements, conducted association business, elected new officers and participated in leadership workshops. The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Macks Creek School is excited for our officers to share what they learned at the State Convention. #MCPirates





Kai Crawford, Craigen Frazier, Isaiah Snyder and our music teacher, Miss Biggers played to a massive crowd this evening at the Dogwood Festival. Kai and Isaiah were on 6-strings, Craigen, the bass and Miss Biggers was the vocalist. The group played House of the Rising Sun and What's Up (by the 4 Non Blondes). Afterward, Miss Biggers grabbed her guitar and played several other songs. Way to 🎸 the festival Pirates! #MCPirates

Macks Creek Middle and High School students participated in the PCL Math Bowl in Weaubleau this evening. The High School finished just outside of the top three to hold fourth place.
