FFA officers Ty Glawson, Trenton Arnold, Makenna and Kassidy Campbell, Morgan Buck, Aiden George and Wyatt Brooks joined fellow FFA officers from across the state in Columbia on Thursday and Friday, at the 95th Missouri FFA Convention. At the event they honored fellow members for outstanding achievements, conducted association business, elected new officers and participated in leadership workshops. The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Macks Creek School is excited for our officers to share what they learned at the State Convention. #MCPirates
Kai Crawford, Craigen Frazier, Isaiah Snyder and our music teacher, Miss Biggers played to a massive crowd this evening at the Dogwood Festival. Kai and Isaiah were on 6-strings, Craigen, the bass and Miss Biggers was the vocalist. The group played House of the Rising Sun and What's Up (by the 4 Non Blondes). Afterward, Miss Biggers grabbed her guitar and played several other songs. Way to 🎸 the festival Pirates! #MCPirates

Macks Creek Middle and High School students participated in the PCL Math Bowl in Weaubleau this evening. The High School finished just outside of the top three to hold fourth place.

Macks Creek School hosted an Archery Awards Banquet this evening. Numerous archers experienced growth and success in the sport this school year. Thank you archers for your hard work and dedication! Thank you coaches for all of your time and effort! Thank you to the George family for cooking and serving an incredible meal for this year’s banquet. The Middle School Track Team will not be traveling to Camdenton tomorrow afternoon. The next meet they will travel to will be at School of the Osage in the Warpath Relays on Friday, April 21st. #MCPirates
The Pirates and Lady Pirates HS track teams competed this evening at the Osage Invitational. For the Pirates, Jose Cortez ran the 110 hurdles in 18.68 and 100m dash in 13.54. Caleb Phillips took 1st in the 800 in 2:05.31, 1st in the 1600m in 4:47.97 and 2nd in the 3200m in 10:35.18. Great job men! For the ladies, Jade Stasiak ran the 400m in 1:21.54. In her very first meet of the season, Nevaeh Dorrell ran the 400 in 1:21.67. Brooklyn Duggan ran the 100m hurdles in 19.02 and the 100m dash in 14.57. Addison Ratliff ran the 800m in 2:55.3, took 6th in the 1600m in 6:23.6 and 4th in the 3200m with a 14:18. The four Lady Pirates then rallied to put together a 4x400 meter relay team. In their inaugural run, the ladies posted a time 5:09.43. Great job Lady Pirates! #MCPirates

Lady Pirates Softball rematched Humansville today and battled. In the first 4 innings Lady Pirates were 3-3. Making great defensive plays. In the end we came up short, but showed a lot of growth and competitiveness. Come out to support April 18th at 5pm at Ball Park National.
