Today Zero the Hero came to town and celebrated the 40th day of school with our Kindergarten and 1st Grade! #MCPirates
The XC team ran in their last regular season meet this afternoon. The team traveled to Ft. Leonard Wood's Piney Valley Golf Course to race in the Waynesville District Warm-Up. The race consisted of a fast 2 mile course. Addison Ratliff placed 9th with a 14:33, Bailey Allan took 19th with a 20:41. Caleb Phillips took 5th with a 10:58. After the meet, the team was able to checkout the US Army Engineer Museum and Chemical Corps Museum. The team will race on Saturday October 28th at Lamar in the District 2 meet for the chance to advance to State on November 3rd. The team will spend next week preparing for Districts. The Macks Creek XC Team traveled to Vienna to compete in the Fall Classic. Caleb Phillips took 2nd in the Boys Varsity race. In Girls Varsity, Addie Ratliff took 10th and Bailey Allan took 32nd. Macks Creek R-V Schools is preparing for our Veteran's Day Assembly on November 10, 2023. The morning will kickoff at 7:30 a.m. with a breakfast available for Veterans in the high school gym. The all-district assembly will begin at 9:00 a.m.
