Macks Creek Senior Brooklyn Duggan recently achieved a significant milestone in her high school basketball career by scoring her 1,000th career point! Brooklyn is averaging 12 points per game in the three games played so far this season. A four-year starter for the Lady Pirates, she played a key role in their quarterfinals appearance during the 2022-2023 season and helped secure a sectional appearance last year. “Brooklyn is an outstanding playmaker. She’s an excellent passer with exceptional court vision,” said Coach Weaver. “She’s a strong driver but can also step back and hit the three-point shot. Her ability to score and create opportunities for her teammates is what sets her apart.” We are incredibly proud of Brooklyn’s accomplishment this season and look forward to continuing to build on what promises to be a memorable year. #MCPirates

The Pirates will be back in action next week as they compete in the Humansville Tournament. They open play on Tuesday (12/3) against the second-seeded Dadeville Bearcats at 5:30 p.m.
The Lady Pirates are back in action next week in the Eugene Tournament. They will play their first round game on Monday (12/2) against the eighth seeded Eugene Lady Eagles at 8:30 p.m.
