Macks Creek School will NOT be in session tomorrow, Wednesday, February 2nd. This cancellation is due to an extremely high degree of certainty by the National Weather Service that snow will begin to fly in our area early tomorrow morning and begin to make travel unsafe by mid-morning. Macks Creek School would like all Pirates to stay safe during winter weather! The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), published a news release (https://www.modot.org/node/25056) earlier today regarding the winter threat this week. MoDOT Director Patrick McKenna notes that MoDOT crews continue to experience staff shortages that will likely impact how quickly roads will be cleared. Macks Creek School encourages all families to take precautions and be prepared for what could be a major winter storm. Please stay safe Pirates! #MCPirates
The boys basketball game against Calhoun tomorrow evening that was scheduled to start at 6 PM has been moved to start at 5 PM due to the possibility of inclement weather! #MCPirates
HOMECOMING WEEK is approaching quickly! This year's theme is Nickelodeon. The 7 - 12 classes have been divided up and will use the following shows for their gym wall decorations:
