Holy mackerel - our seniors are having fun!
Lake Regional Health System will provide free sports physicals for middle and high school students at School of the Osage from 3:45 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, and at Camdenton High School from 3:45 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8.
Please ensure that any student thinking about participating on any athletic team in grades 6-12 next school year 2022-2023, can go have a free physical complete on the above dates, times and locations. This is a great opportunity for our students and a like our families to have this service provided to us.

Congratulations to the Macks Creek High School Track team on a great showing at this evening's meet in Buffalo! While seniors Molly, Adriana, and Morgan are away relaxing on the beach in Florida, the rest of the team worked hard to make them proud and claimed many medals. The 4x800m relay team of Caleb Phillips, Jose Cortez, Sigfredo Segarra, and Kyler Gabriel took first. Brooklyn Duggan set a PR and took first in the 100m hurdles. Obediah Tower followed suit and powered his way to first in the 110m hurdles. Brooklyn competed in the 100m dash for the first time and took second. Kyler had his inaugural run in the 400m dash and took third. Brooklyn earned another gold in the 300m hurdles and took second in the high jump. Obediah grabbed third place in the 300m hurdles. Caleb took his second gold medal of the night in the 800m run, during which he set a PR and broke our school record. Caleb also took first in the 3200m run. The 4x400m relay team of Kyler, Jose, Obediah, and Caleb finished out the night with a second place finish. Great job tonight Pirates! The team will run in their last regular season meet at School of the Osage's Warpath Relays this Thursday. #MCPirates

Two sponsors and thirteen members of the Macks Creek High School Class of 2022 embarked on the annual Senior trip this morning. The group met at the Springfield Airport at 4 AM and made their way to Destin, Florida. They have landed safely and are headed to the beach. We wish them all safe and fun week! #MCPirates
The home baseball game scheduled for tonight has now been moved to Climax Springs with the same start time of 5:00 PM due to our home field conditions. #MCPirates

The Macks Creek FBLA is again teaming up with the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks to host a blood drive this coming Thursday, April 21, at the school. Macks Creek School recently hosted inspectors from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). Each year MSHP is tasked with inspecting every school bus in the state. The buses are placed into three categories: approved, defective and out of service. This year inspectors from Troop F approved all 7 buses in the Macks Creek fleet. The district is proud to maintain an outstanding safety record year in and year out when it comes to transporting our students each day! Thank you to Lewis, JR and Carla Stoufer of Stoufer's Tire & Auto for the many hours you put into keeping our buses in optimal shape! Thank you to Carl, Robin, Mark, David and Doyle for keeping your buses clean and for the detailed pre-trip inpections you perform even in the nastiest of weather every morning! Lastly thank you to Everret and Tena for filling on routes when our regular drivers are out on trips or not feeling well! We appreciate everyone's hard work to see our students safely to and from school each day!
