How many teachers does it take to change a light bulb?
Macks Creek teachers joined teachers from other PCL schools for a conference-wide PD event. In addition to a hearing from a high caliber keynote speaker, our teachers are collaborating with other grade level/content teachers and selecting from various break out sessions.
Today's keynote, Devin Siebold spoke on topics including implementing humor in the classroom to create more captivating lesson plans, using laughter to break down barriers, and create safe and encouraging havens for our students.
It takes three teachers to change a light bulb, one to hold the bulb and two to spin the ladder!

A handful of Macks Creek seniors are taking advantage of Technology Career Exploration Day at State Fair Community College today. This event allows school counselors to bring a small group of students to participate in hands-on activities with SFCC faculty and explore a variety of career options offered at the college. State Fair offers various Exploration Days throughout the year. Interested students should visit with our Career and College Advisor, Mrs. Bothwell to learn more. #MCPirates
