Macks Creek, in conjunction with COMC and the Camden County Health Department, is offering an End-of-Year Health Event on Thursday, May 9, from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. COMC will be providing sports physicals for students interested in playing MS and HS sports during the 2024-2025 school year. Physicals must be done by the first day of Fall practices and are good for two years. The Camden County Health Department will provide vaccines for all incoming 8th and 12th grade students. Forms are available in the high school and Elementary offices. They must be completed and returned by May 1. #MCPirates

End-of-Year Health Event
The Macks Creek Middle School Pirates Track & Field Team showed up in a big way at today's Missouri Middle School State Championship Meet at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar. Our 4 x 100 team of Parker Christian, Michael Egan, Sebastian Sanchez and Weston Martineau are the Class 1 State Champions! In the 100m dash Weston is the State Champ! Weston also took 4th in the shot put. Sebastian is the State Champ in the 200 meter and also took 2nd in the 100 and 6th in the Triple Jump! Parker placed 6th in the 400 meter, 8th in the 200 meter and 13th in the Long Jump! Michael was 10th in the long jump and 9th in the discus! Eric Little also ran hard today in the 400 and 800. Way to get on the medal stand today Pirates and way to finish out a great season. The future looks bright for Macks Creek Track and Field - we are proud of all your hard work and effort this season. The Pirates Track team finished up the Bearcat Classic with 6th place in the 300m hurdles by Jose Cortez (42.79) and 4th Place in the 800m run by Caleb Phillips (2:04.47). Kevin Bowman ran a 1:03 in the 400 and Jessica Weyhersmueller ran 31.81 in the 200m dash. Great job everyone! The team will compete again on Thursday at the PCL Conference meet at Skyline. #MCPirates

The Pirates are competing in the SBU Bearcat Classic today in Bolivar. So far Jose Cortez advanced to the finals and took 6th place in the 100m Hurdles. Caleb Phillips took 4th in Steeple Chase. The FBLA LifeSmarts team didn't make it to the Sweet 16 today, but they did get a picture with their sister team, North Dakota! They also kayaked in Mission Bay and went to the San Diego Zoo!

The MC Track team made the most of a large school meet this afternoon in Waynesville. Lady Pirate Jessica Weyhersmueller ran hard in the mile. On the Pirate side, Kevin Bowman ran well in the 100 and 400. Kevin posted a PR of 1:01 in the 400! Jose Cortez ran well in the 110m and 300m hurdles taking 5th place in both. Caleb Phillips had season PR's in both the 800 (2:07.19) and 1600 (4:43.16). Great racing team! Caleb took 3rd in the mile and 9th in the 800. Our track athletes will be back in action on Tuesday and the SBU Invitational in Bolivar. #MCPirates

The MS Track & Field team performed well at this evening's meet at School of the Osage. Weston Martineau and Sebastian Sanchez to 1st and 2nd in the 100m dash respectively. Carter Ferrell took 4th in both the 800m and 1600m. The duo of Weston and Sebastian took 1st and 2nd in the 200 respectively. Sebastian took 2nd in the Triple Jump and Weston took 3rd in the shot put. The 4x100 meter relay team of Parker Christian, Michael Egan, Sebastian and Weston took 2nd place. Macks Creek baseball traveled to Osage this evening just ahead of the weather for a tilt on the ball diamond. It was the Indians that jumped to an 11-0 lead after the first inning. The Pirates settled in and battled but fell 15-5 to their hosts in five innings. #MCPirates
