The wrestling team traveled to Rolla to compete in the "Tough as Nails" wrestling tournament on Saturday.
Kamora Merchant finished 3rd in her girls bracket at 140 pounds. There were 10 girls in her bracket. Kamora pinned 3 opponents and lost 1 match to the girl that would go on to finish 2nd. It was a great showing for our lone Lady Pirate.
Owyn Charlton and John Bicknell both picked up their first 2 wins of the season in their prospective brackets. Bentley Campbell also went 1-2 for Saturday. The kids all wrestled great and showed great sportsmanship throughout the entire tournament.
This coming weekend the boys will travel to Sedalia for the Battle at Katy Trail. Kamora will travel to Eldon to compete in the Girl Christmas Clash.
