The Macks Creek HS Track teams both had strong showings at Osceola yesterday!. The Pirates finished 4th and the Lady Pirates finished 6th overall at the Osceola High School Invitational out of 17 Schools! This Pirates Track Team has every reason to be beaming with PRIDE!
The Lady Pirates outdid themselves again in the 4x200, setting an even better school record at 1:58 earning a 1st Place finish! Way to go Kaelee, Stella, Kloe and Izzy!
Carter Ferrell had another great night earning a 1st Place finish in the 3200m and 2nd Place in his 1600m. Keep up the great work!
Michael Egan earned a 3rd Place finish and a new PR in the 200m (24.81).
Kloe Hoback earned a new PR in 100mh (5th overall) and ran the 300mh (6th overall) for the first time.
Kaelee Keehler earned 2 new PRs in the 100mh (7th overall) and 300mh (4th overall).
Izzy Willey earned a new PR in the 100m (5th overall).
Eric LIttle earned a PR in the 800m.
Marshall Cross earned a new PR in the 100m.
Reece Nations earned new PRs in the 100m (5th overall) and 200m (5th overall). Reece is having a great Freshman season and we are looking forward to seeing his future growth.
Bailey Allan earned a new PR in the 1600m (7th overall). Bailey cut almost 15 seconds off her time!
Stella Lappat cut six seconds from her previous PR earning a new best in the 200m (6th overall)! Keep up the great work, Stella D!
Our Pirate Track Team has two more meets before Districts and we would love to hear you in the crowd cheering us on at Camdenton (4/29) and Skyline (5/5). We have a fun Parent Section that supports and cheers on each athlete.
We are celebrating our two Seniors, Julian Tucker and Bailey Tindall, at the Skyline Meet on May 5th. We are going to miss them both tremendously and appreciate all they have done for our Team. Please join us in celebrating them and showing them love and support as they move towards new adventures and opportunities. We love you both!
