Members of the Macks Creek FFA chapter recently traveled to the Missouri State FFA Convention, where they had the opportunity to compete, learn, and celebrate achievements alongside fellow FFA members from across the state.

On Wednesday, the agronomy team competed against 60 teams from across Missouri, earning a bronze rating with a placement of 41st overall. Their hard work and dedication throughout the year were evident as they represented Macks Creek with pride.

Throughout the convention, members attended general sessions where they heard from inspiring keynote speakers and watched as FFA members from across Missouri were recognized for their accomplishments in various competitions and leadership areas. These sessions provided motivation and insight into future opportunities within agriculture.
In addition to team success, Kassidy earned a gold state medal for her outstanding ownership record book, highlighting her commitment and excellence in agricultural record-keeping.

Students also explored the career fair, where they had the chance to connect with colleges, industry professionals, and organizations to learn more about future educational and career opportunities in agriculture and related fields.

On Thursday, members had the opportunity to tour the University of Missouri (Mizzou) campus, where they learned more about academic programs, student life, and potential pathways for continuing their education after high school.

The convention concluded on a high note as members gathered to celebrate a significant achievement. Kassidy and Morgan proudly walked across the stage to receive their State FFA Degrees, the highest honor the state can bestow upon its members. This recognition reflects years of dedication, leadership, and involvement in agricultural education.

Macks Creek FFA is proud of all members who attended and represented their chapter so well at the Missouri State FFA Convention. #MCPirates
