On Thursday night the Macks Creek High School Track Team competed at Warsaw. Top highlights include: Carter Ferrell ran his best 3200m, Michael Egan took back the Javelin school record, Bode Harrison ran strong while Kloe Hoback and Maddie Moos jumped higher than ever, giving all these athletes new PR’s.
Carter Ferrell took 3rd in the 1600m at a pace of 5.11 and 2nd place in the 3200 at a pace of 10:59, a new PR.
Michael Egan regained the school Javelin record with a throw of 39.32m (5th place overall) while also pacing to a new PR in the 200m at 25.52.
Bode Harrison ran his best 800m at 3:03.
Kloe Hoback advanced through several rounds of high jump while setting her new PR at 3.65M. She also ran a 30.15 in the 200 and a 1:11 in the 400M, both of which are new PRs.
Maddie Moos was flying over the high jump bar, setting her new PR at 3:03m.
Stella Lappat set new PRs in both the 200m at 30.67 and the 1600 at 7:48.
Baily Allan ran great and set a new 1600m PR at 8:25.
Izzy Willey finished 8th in the 100m and set a new PR at 14.34.
The Lady Pirates 4X200 team: Bailey Tindall, Kloe Hoback, Stella Lappat and Izzy Willey set a new PR at 2:04 (5th place overall).
Eric Little ran a PR in the 1600m at 7:28.
Aaron Hufferd and Marshall Cross both set new PRs in the discus at the same measurement of 20.73m.
Marshall Cross set a new shot put PR at 8.22m
Kaelee Keehler returned to action and took on a new event, setting a PR of 3.65 in the long jump.
Our team of 16 athletes continue to get stronger, faster, and more determined to reach their season goals.
