The Macks Creek Baseball Pirates celebrated Senior night on the diamond tonight against the Climax Springs Cougars.

In addition to baseball, he has played basketball all four years and was on the cross country team for one. After graduation he plans on attending OTC to become a lineman. Nick said that his favorite Senior memory was 'getting a hit with a broken hand.' His favorite high school memory was his Senior trip to Orlando. His favorite baseball memory was 'watching Kyler slip and fall into the dugout fence.' Nick's favorite quote is "Legends Never Die" and his parting wisdom for future baseball players is 'wear a sliding mitt'.

Sean Green (13) is the son of April and Joshua Green. He has been at Macks Creek since day one. Sean started playing baseball at three years old and hasn't stopped since. He has been the starting catcher for the Pirates for all four years of high school. Sean also played basketball and ran cross country for two years, was a member of FBLA for a year, attended LCTC's Law Enforcement classes for two years, went to Skills USA for one year, and also attended Missouri Boys State the summer after his Junior year. After graduation Sean plans to work as a jailer at the Camden County Sheriff's Department before attending the Police Academy when he turns 20. Sean's favorite Senior baseball memory was when Coach made Paxten play right field during practice. His favorite high school memory came during his Sophomore year "when Paxten fel at Wheatland like a cartoon character slipping on a banana peel". Some of his favorite baseball memories include Kyler slipping and falling, Paxten accidentally hitting a teammate on the bus, and Chase getting picked off in practice and then standing like a deer in headlights. Sean's favorite quote comes from Chicago White Sox player, Andrew Benintendi: "That's the beautiful thing about baseball; you can be any size and be successful." His parting wisdom to future Pirate catchers is 'your knees will be cooked.'

Paxten Breshears (30) is the son of Kassandra and Chris Breshears. Paxten has played baseball all four years of high school, including a variety of positions: third, pitcher, and first base. Besides baseball, Paxten played basketball for one year, has been a member of FBLA for three years, is a new member to National Honor Society, and has done LCTC's computer integration course for two years. After graduation, Paxten is attending Westminster College to major in Computer Systems Analysis and minor in Cyber Security. Senior year is full or memories and Paxten's favorite is "going on Senior trip and playing the stupid card game that the girls bought." Paxten has several baseball memories. During his Freshman year in his first ever at bat he swung and accidentally threw the bat at the other team's coach. Another memory is watching Sean fall three times on the Wheatland field. He will also never forget the time Coach Overton said, "Coach give Kota belt." His favorite quote is "Knowledge is understanding that tomatoes are a fruit. Wisdom is keeping them out of a fruit salad." His parting wisdom for the players that will be coming up is, "remember to have fun, you're a part of America's favorite pastime."

Chase Christian (40) is the son of Jason and Erin Christian. He has gone to Macks Creek for 13 years. Chase has played baseball for three years at first base, and also, as he says, "right bench." Besides baseball, Chase has been a member of FBLA for three years, was in student government for one year, and is a new member of National Honor Society. After graduation, Chase is attending Westminster College to obtain a degree in History. His favorite member from Senior year is going to the beach in Florida. He has plenty of favorite baseball memories, like his unassisted double play in his first ever baseball game. His most favorite memories come from his Sophomore year at the Wheatland Tournament where Sean tripped three times on the same foul ball, Vaughn threw the ball straight up in the air, and Paxten slipped while fielding the ball. Chase's favorite quote comes from former Macks Creek outfielder, Josh Botta: "If we don't win, we lose." Chase's parting wisdom for future players is to "always try your best and learn from your mistakes."
